Here we go...

As if another voice were needed on the topic of new media, it falls to me to offer what I hope will be a unique perspective. Bear with me as I wade through waters that offer promise and prosperity, hope and disaster and maybe an insight or two that will actually be worth the effort you expend to read this.

I am one of the founders of a little company called NewsProNet - I have been blessed to work with a group of very passionate and commited professionals every day since and have enjoyed the roller-coaster ride that running a small business in a highly visible field affords. We're still a small company - with aspirations to be a little bigger. Recent events make it possible - at long last - to bring our vision to life. This blog is a small part of that.

So what do I have to say? I'm in sales! Getting me to shut-up is the trick.
But I have also learned that listening is much more valuable than talking, so I hope that as I loosen my tongue you'll weigh in and share your thoughts and comments.

I'll start by describing some of the history of our company - the hard-won lessons we're learned and the successes we've had and our vision for the future. We still hold a unique position in the world of TV news and have made a significant impact - and we believe that impact will grow.

Having something worthwhile to say regularly will be the trick - and my mouth gets me into trouble all the time. How's that for a tease?

Stay tuned and see if I manage to chew on some shoe leather.
